As the Assistant Controller/in you report to the Head of Finance and will perform a broad range of financial planning and reporting services and general accounting tasks. Supporting Students, Faculty, and Staff with financial planning and execution support, you will play a major role in helping them and CODE succeed.
You will work closely with faculty and staff to maintain accurate accounting records, enable and track payments and purchases, and changes to payroll. You will be a vital participant in cross facilitating:
Support our team by ensuring accounting records are accurate and complete.
Support the preparation and completion of financial reports, updates, and plans.
Support the cost accountability in all transactions.
Ensure effective use of public and private grant funds ( ESF, EXIST, others).
Provide advice and assistance to students, faculty, staff, and CODE partners.

This a fixed duration contract that may be funded by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie EXIST Potentiale grant or ESF funding and is subject to all rules and restrictions for these programs.We are looking for someone who:
